The model IS rigged. For the model to move dynamically, it needs the armature on import. The armature stores the vertex data for weight painting and will not work without it. After importing the asset, you are free to remove the armature as long as you don't close the scene.

A base-level knowledge of Unity and avatar creation via Blender or another 3D program is required to utilize this asset
